The Healthcare Hackathon 2026 has successfully concluded as one of the flagship pre-symposium activities of the 5th African Symposium on Big Data, Analytics and Machine Intelligence (ASBAMI 2026).
Over three exciting days, talented students and young innovators from leading universities collaborated to develop data-driven solutions addressing critical healthcare and public health challenges through Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics.
Participants worked in teams, explored real-world healthcare datasets, received mentorship from experts, and presented innovative solutions focused on improving healthcare systems across Africa.
